About Us
We Believe The River is for Everyone

Founded in 2023, Equitable Angling reflects Alyssa Adcock’s commitment to expanding access to meaningful, well-crafted angling experiences. A professional fly fishing guide for more than eleven seasons, Alyssa has worked across a wide range of fisheries- from the Watauga and South Holston tailgaters of East Tennessee and the small mountain streams around Boone, North Carolina, to the Kanektok River in Alaska and the rugged, remote stretches of the Rio Grande, Pecos, and Devils River in West Texas. Her work now extends into whitewater-based expeditions on Idaho’s Middle Fork of the Salmon through specialized outfitter partners. Alyssa holds Wilderness First Responder and Swiftwater Rescue certifications and is also an accomplished fly tier, writer, and avid bird enthusiast. Equitable Angling currently offers guided day trips in Montana, downriver trips in Texas, as well as curated hosted travel in destinations such as Patagonia and Wyoming. Each program is designed with intention, comfort, and accessibility in mind- inviting anglers into wild places while ensuring every detail is handled with care.
